The Association for Public Economic Theory (APET) and ISEG (Lisbon School of Economics & Management) are pleased to announce that the 2025 International Conference on Public Economic Theory (a.k.a. PET) will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on June 23-25, 2025.

Submissions in all areas of public economics and related areas are invited. Both theoretical and applied (including experimental) papers will be considered. Participation in the conference will be subject to a selection process based on the quality of the papers submitted.

PET will be preceded by Lisbon Meetings (Game Theory Conference) June 18-20 and followed by the SAET Conference in Ischia June 29-July 5.

This PET conference will honor Pierre Pestieau's contribution to public economics and to JPET, with many special guests invited. There is also a special issue in Pierre's honor.
